    The headline made it seem like someone beat the hiker to death...I still dont understand this story..?

    I wonder if the Japanese version suggests foul play. The translation certainly does. Does not Japan realize that that Helicopter was there to save the hiker? People lost their lives in trying to save this person. It might be appreciated. What was she doing there?

    This report basically states that her suffering was brief - if at all. Contrast this with the State Trooper who lay injured until he fell victim to hypothermia.

    "Multiple blunt force injuries" is the technical term for what happens to the body when it is involved in a high-speed impact. It is usually used when there is a fatal air crash. No foul play is to be inferred from this statment.
