why they did not do like the american couple who brought the child to life and then hand it to its genetic parents ? that would have save a life and been a beautiful gesture ! (and i am not an american trying to show how beautiful country that is ! i am european and thought that was really amazing !)

Because the American couple already had several children. How do you think you'd feel if you had to hand over your much wanted first (and possibly last, if you're having fertility problems,) baby over to someone else? How can you be sure they'll love it when they didn't experience it's gestation?
But if this is the same case I'm thinking of, the implanted ovum was defective. Would you expect the genetic parents to want a child who was destined to be stuck in a hospital bed all it's short life? It may well have been doomed anyway, but as no-one's told all the details we'll just have to gossip about it and find ways to insult all concerned with no justification. (Why break the habit of a lifetime after all.)

A very sad case for all concerned - but I don`t recall them being "forced" or "having to" abort anything. They chose to abort.
I also don`t recall anything about the implanted ovum being defective, but I may have missed that.
