    They can look forward to a conclusion but unfortunately I think many of them had better brace themselves for the reality that they may not be alive.

    I concur. Regrettably, many of these individuals may no longer be living. It would have been much better to have known this, if it's the case, a long time ago, so they can have some sort of closure, and not live their lives here in Japan in perpetual disappointment.

    I have more sympathy for all the people who lost their pensions frankly, and I wish the government would start devoting their time and funds to them instead of to this clearly lost cause and its few sufferers.
