If they were factory-farmed, they likely couldn't fly in the first place.

This kind of 'competition' is gross.

I love the rules at this event: If you heave, you leave. From what I read, he almost lost a load. What's gross is I heard he just tapped his throat a couple times and swallowed it all back down. AttaBoy!!

The average weight of a chicken wing is 29-30 grams. Supposing he didn't eat the feather light bone, he consumed approx. 8.5 kilograms of meat and 20557 calories in 30 minutes.

To load the digestive system with 8.5 kilograms of meat in 30 minutes would kill and average person, or can sicken even a lion, as an adult lion weighting 200 kilograms eat only 5, or max. 7 kilograms (only the real huge males) of meat one day, but not in 30 minutes.

One guy downs 337 chicken wings. Sounds like a pig to me. I'll bet 337 kids in poverty-stricken areas around this world would just love to eat one chicken wing.

And there were others in this pig-out eating contest so there are that many more chicken wings that went down the tubes ...

What a waste ...

Only in Japan and the USA, two countries who have contributed to the world culture with overeating competitions. It is disgusting and grotesque. At the same moment when people are starving, people in the USA and Japan are paid big prizes for stuffing themselves with food they do not need.

I have semi-vegetarian friends who say they only meat from animals which they killed themselves. Reading about this gross "competitive eating" contest, that rule seems very sensible to me.
