    Not the same fault line, and Wakayama has had plenty of powerful quakes since 3/11.

    We don't usually read articles about earthquakes less than 6 unless they are unusual in some way either... Yes, I know, we're reading this one...

    Everyone in Kansai dreads that Wakayama quake. I don't know how inner city osaka would fare in a big tsunami but the subways are so prone to flooding it is scary. Some subways have floodgates but not all. There were problems recently.
