I don't care how "small" it was... I haven't forgotten the Fukushima one that scared both me and my dog out of our wits... after all, It may just be the "precursory" of bigger ones to come... and we certainly felt this one here in Yokohama !

Hope these recent relatively small shakes are not harbingers of a more powerful temblor, or big one, if you like...

No. The hypocenter was 30km deep. The epicenter was just of the the coast of western Chiba.

@Monozuki, maybe yes, maybe no. These relieve local strain, but can tend to displace it elsewhere. The going hypothesis is the next big Great Kanto Earthquake will have an epicenter around the southernmost tip of Boso Peninsula.

Godzilla!!!,,,waking up. any activity around Fuji-san like unexplained sulfur, springs once cold now hot or gases in the area?
