Man hits woman cyclist in suicide leap from 11th floor apartment
TOKYO —
A man on Tuesday night apparently jumped from the 11th floor of his apartment, hitting a woman cyclist in Tachikawa, police said Wednesday. The man died at hospital and the women suffered injuries to her legs.
According to police investigations, the 53-year-old man, who lives in the apartment, jumped from the balcony around 6:15 p.m., hitting the 46-year-old cyclist. A passerby witnessed the incident and notified a police officer who was patrolling nearby. The witness told police that the man hit an electric wire and then hit the cyclist.

Wow... That's a hell of a jump! There must have been some serious timing at work, it's hard enough to hit a parked car with a water balloon from my 8th floor apartment, let alone a power line & a moving cyclist...
Hope the woman is ok.

Only if there's a chance they'll be held accountable. That's why people rarely look back after nearly knocking you on your ass during rush hour at Shinjuku Station; They don't believe they'll ever be held accountable.
