Marunouchi celebrates Sendai Tanabata Matsuri

TOKYO —

Marunouchi cafe SEEK in cooperation with Sendai City is presenting a very special exhibit commemorating the popular Sendai Tanabata Matsuri (Aug 6-8, 2012). Through the end of July, large colorful decorations and photographs from the festival are will be on display at the café.

Visitors are welcome to join in the local customs and write their wishes on “tanzaku” (small pieces of paper), and hang them on bamboo.
