This is getting out of hand now. First, foods in China. Next, candies in California and Connecticut. Now in chocolates in Kumamoto? China's got some answering to do.

    My table top is Melemine.

Incidentally, melamine has a high nitrogen content and thus is added to milk powder to boost it's protein stats.

Adult bodies can usually handle a little bit, but for babies with tiny bodies, it's a killer.

So much for the "good image" that China tried so hard to get this year.

Starts with bad international PR of Tibet violence, goes to faulty buildings killing children during the earthquake, attempted censorship of journalists during Olympics and now this.

No one will remember how many medals the Chinese won during the olympics; everyone remembers poor Chinese quality and untrustworthiness..

really your joking... I was so shocked when I heard this news... not not really. I think you will find that globally there have been been alot of imports bans or issues related to this issue.

Does kinda explain why just about every shop and store in China is having a massive chocolate sale right now. When they're not selling it off cheap, its given away as free gifts to shoppers when they spend over a certain amount. They've got to get rid of the stuff somehow and they're not too bothered if this sends a few more kids to hospital.

Is Japan taking all the Chinese suspect products out of the shelves? I feel insecure. In my homeland they are doing and analyzing suspecting products. Even Lotte ones sold in Chinese shops with Japanese kanji. Many productions are made in China. For the time being, I prefer to live without eating chocolate unless I am sure that it comes from Europe. At least it seems that drastic measures have been taken.

When we will have a liable sanitation control. I thought that in this country products which were analyzed. What's next after the scandals of Japanese expired products, re-used restaurant food, fake Hida meat, tainted rice and Chinese poisoned products allowed to enter by Japanese companies that are enriching without taking care of people and poisoning population.

The tragedy of this melamine madness is going far and deep...very deep. In China and many its neighbouring countries, milk processing factories have to shut down because consummers stop buying and lose confidence in ANYTHING containing MILK. Farmers can not sell their milk but still have to feed their cows..They have to use milk to feed dogs and cats, give away, bath in milk , throw milk in drains ...and face financial bankcruptcy. Who know after this melamine ,what else will come? Carcigenic subtances in soysauce?
