Electric razors are garbage. Get yourselves a proper safety razor, badger hair brush, and a good set of blades. You'll save a fortune and have the best shave of your life.

Since I started using my Merkur, shaving, which I'd regarded as a chore for 30 years has been transformed into a ritual I look forward to. Get it done right. Old school.

Electric Razors are great when you need a quick shave like getting rid of the 5-o'clock shadow before an evening meeting, date, etc. Not going to lather up in the lavatory.

Said that I use both blades and electric.

Wow, quite a hum, I expect.

You'd need a lot of electricity to charge 1,981 shavers! Still, it sure saves on the old elbow.

Well, it sounds nice as a party for some, but it does not save Panasonic's share price I presume

Serrano - yeah, 5 blades is a direct attack on Gillette's Fusion 5 vibrating manual shavers. Now Panasonic has electric shavers.they are so wide one can land a plane on them.

Meanwhile in several other countries, men are being encouraged NOT to shave for "Movember" to raise awareness of men's health issues. Seems to have a bit more of a point.
