Thank god for these mountains! But I will never forgive Tepco!!

I think that the mountains are simply one way in which Japan protects itself. The land is seeking to take care of the people of Japan. Let us hope that this trend is allowed to continue.

Then how come parts of Japan are too radioactive to farm. Looking at the afore mentioned article about the farmland the map on that article doesn't look like there was an impediment to the fallout spread as a matter of fact that make believe number 2500bq per km as to be safe for farming is quite high. I don't think Children should be eating food grown in that soil. 5bq per km sounds a lot safer.

What a pointless article, "mountains limited spread of radiation", what next wind limited spread of radiation! Well l guess that between the mountains and the wind they managed to do a better job than TEPCO and the J government at limiting the spread.
