Mysterious cluster of lights spotted above Osaka on Aug 30 causes UFO buzz

OSAKA —

On the night of Aug30, a cluster of multicolored lights was seen floating in the the sky above Osaka.

Several people reported to Twitter that they saw a group of lights forming a triangular shape and flashing green, red and white in the night sky above Izumi city in Osaka Prefecture.

The sightings caused a commotion on Twitter after one user wrote: “Everyone in Osaka, go outside! There’s a UFO!” prompting others to grab their cameras and snap up photos of mysterious luminous object.

Still, some people were quick to discredit claims that the lights are a UFO, pointing out that traditional sightings report UFOs as being circular in shape.

But this could be some kind of new, low-flying UFO model. And Japan has proved to be a popular UFO destination in the past.

Well at least the aliens are using standard aviation navigation lights now....Safety First............. also why are all UFO pictures sooo blurry or does Osaka always look like this, last couple of times I was there this is what I remember it looking like, but I thought it was for a different reason lol

Wasn't that something related to "Blue Moon"? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_moon

They showed this on TV before, it's just some LED kites bought from China. There's something unsavory about flying a kite at night..

Why is it that whenever something like this is seen, the person filming it has a very poor camera and a shaky hand... Is it really too much to expect someone with a full HD camera, quality lens and steady arm to capture it?

That video link in the story... Come on, they are obviously balloons.

Yes, of course they could be alien UFOs from another planet, but they look like they could also be LED kites.

.Keep in mind I don't want to rule out the possibility that this is a scout ship from the planet Nibiru signalling the Mayan apocalype....don't know about the zombies, but one can always hope.

Green Red and White. Standard universal (on our planet-lol) navigational light colors Sure doesn't sound like a "UFO" to me other than not knowing what plane or planes they were., .

A UFO? yes, until it's identified. Alien? Probably not, doubt they'd come all this to show that they've copied standard navigational lights.
