I didn't expect much from the G8. More talk, more photo ops. And no real change or results. Pretty much as expected.
If you want change to the world, you cannot wait around for governments to do the right thing. We must raise our voices and become personally involved. How we shop and spend our money is a powerful influence. And our capacity to protest, strike and use our votes to drive change are also powerful if we bother to use them.
We can bring change, but only if we are willing to do something ourselves. The real responsibility is ours.

As reported by Fuji TV; the highlight of the summit (According to the British Contingent) was Bush's birthday.
In other words, the summit was little more than a 3-day party with photo-ops.
