No. of Fukushima nuclear plant workers on false contracts increases

When are the Japanese people going to wake up and smell the coffee and get out there and start kicking butts and get this country moving forward and kick these p.l.i.c.k.s. who run these corporations out on their a.r.s.e.s.?

Oh that's right...too busy walking with their heads down playing puzzle-dragon. Living in their smart-phone fantasy world and not wanting to deal with reality!

The government and TEPCO are showing the same amount of regulatory concern for these workers as they did for plant operational safety, which is little or none. Negligence on top of negligence; when will heads roll or those responsible be charged and properly prosecuted?

Worker polled said that they were paid by a different company from the contractor that normally directs them at the work site, which is illegal under Japan’s labor laws. So this is how TEPCO and the government treats the hero's of Fukushima, while pledging to improve work conditions. Abe is quick to take action against newspapers for reporting the truth about "comfort women", sex slaves, yet will do nothing about this.

This should be no surprise to anyone that has dealt with Japanese businesses. The history of kickbacks, payoffs, price fixing, bribes and generally being very unscrupulous is well documented. And, don't expect the government to intervene because they are just as unscrupulous. Foreigners that have lived in Japan a while should know better than to apply Western work ethics to Japanese companies. There is only one ethic in Japanese business: Make as money as you can and rip off as many people as you can without getting caught and, if you do get caught, just have an opology ready and you'll be fine.

This labor and contract problem is only the tip of the iceberg. Guess where all the donations from around the world went to? Japan is no better than North Korea.

The Japanese government and TEPCO vowed last year to improve working conditions at the plant, where sub-contractors supply the bulk of workers conducting a cleanup after the nuclear disaster.

The fact that TEPCO turns a blind eye does not surprise me in the least as the concept of ethics, responsibility and principles are non-existent with these scumbags but for the government and especially the politicians to turn a blind eye is scandalous and a downright outrage! Where the hell is Rengo, the Japanese Trade Union Confederation, to organize the labor and to make sure their rights and heath aren't being trampled on? Oh, that's right, in the back pocket of Keidanren! Rengo doesn't stand up for contract workers and especially when they are negotiating with TEPCO and their comrades for their full-time members salary increases which will never get approved!

They are ALL in the sack and it will never end till people stand up for themselves. This would not happen in other so-called democracies because the workers who are being spat on would walk off the job and strike and demand their due but that won't happen here because the yaks would be sent in straight away before the strike even began to squash them like cockroaches and it wouldn't even get a mention in the media!

Due to so many places non-union, false contracting happens in America these days too. High pressure to perform, but contracts ignored or elusive.

We probably are only touching the tip of the iceberg for Fukushima.

Just one more reason, as if we need another, as to why NO nuclear power plants should be restarted in Japan.

TEPCO, Abe, this is not your typical clean up after a typhoon. It's a NUCLEAR DISASTER!!!! The worst in the history of this planet. Treat it as such please.

And the fact that japanese workforce is shrinking and the treatment of their own said workforce is not quite good,,is just part of the problem that the govn't seems ignoring until now.
