Police? Well, this is fine, but I sure hope the Health Ministry gets involved. No mention of that here at all (but then with Kyodo we can't expect very many details). Sounds like things the police will do to protect themselves more than those who have it.

The headline is a bit misleading, then. I know I'm being a bit picky too, but the police aren't really doing much here "against" the new flu, more like "along with" it. Actually stopping the flu's spread and aiding those who get it (what I read from the word "against") would be the job of Health Ministry, no?

Ya got a good point. Why secure airports and not major train stations and highway toll gates and bridges as well as airports?? BECAUSE they are planning for an ALIEN INVASION!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd forget about it until there are millions of Aki Hoshino clones for sale!!!!!!!
