"Futaba is virgin territory, at least until the day the tourists start venturing in."

It'll happen, and knowing how this nation gobbles up group tours and corporations take advantage of that, it'll happen sooner rather than later. But I hope it doesn't start until things cool down at least a little.

"In one kindergarten, the toys have been rearranged to look as though they are playing with each other. In another, a doll wears a gas mask."

There's something very sad, but also somewhat touching, about this.

Well, that is refreshing and very worldly to see Chernobyl and Fukushima mentioned in one article on JT.

    Could I be dreaming?

The only difference is that in Japan the politicians will soon declare the area safe and allow residents to return, citing their catch-phrase "there is no immediate danger to your health". People will return (since they follow every word of their idiotic government like lemmings off a cliff) and in 20 or 30 years cancer will be rampant!

The people from the evacuation zone need to be told they'll never be allowed to return, anything else, is heartless!
