    I'll bet there are no art collectors from outside the U.S. interested in it. Surprising that it even got close to one mil.

    The original might sell given that it was the one actually used as a monument for a couple of years before getting "hidden under a tarp" for 40 years.

    Sorry, I misread this article. I guess the small original was the one up for auction, and the larger copy at Arlington is obviously not for sale. It is an iconic statue, but that doesn't guarantee anyone will pay millions for one of its versions.
