As much as the LDP wants these issues to go away, they never will. The J-Army involvement will always be remembered by people of Okinawa. Shame on him for covering his backside like this.
skipthesong - I can introduce you to at least a half dozen people whe were either part of this or wrote what happened to the mothers and fathers. The former Governor Masahide Ota has written some 62 books on what happened on Okinawa during the battle and for years afterward.
Why not question the Japanese what happened with the comfort women or even Unit 731 and what happened in Nankig
