I recall the story and .People were freaking out The cops had no control over anyoneor anything One thing I have learned going to somany such events (rock fests,especially) Plan Your Exit,DONT!follow the crowd, Leave five minutes early ,Try and obey the cops but use your gut feelings as well!

What the heck could one cop have done? The blame lies directly on the idiots that crowded the bridge not the crowd controllers. If they were stupid enough to be there and show complete disregard for their own personal safety they were lucky to be on the survivors list.
