Mong is on a list of people who will be considered for repatriation to Myanmar in February 2010

If Thailand repatriates people to Burma, I will have to boycott Thailand.

moonbeams: The Thai military simply tow their Burmese refugees out to sea and leave them to starve or drown. They don't bother with repatriation. Better start that boycott.

But Mong, who lives in Chiang Mai in northern Thailand, is the son of Myanmar migrants who are stateless

I don't know why the media here insist on pleasing the militaty junta running Burma by calling it "Myanmar". Are they afraid of treading on their toes? Yet, they persist in calling many other places in Asia by their old names ie Kita Chosen, Peking, etc. Perhaps Japanese economic interests in Burma are too strong to bother acknowledging the human rights abuses?

This illegal "government" that is controlling Burma would think nothing of imprisoning this boy and his family if they are forced back to Burma. Good luck to the boy, wish I could make an airplane like that!

You hit the nail on the head with this one.
