    cute story ! and on another website, they mentioned the parrot was not very cooperative with the police, and only talked to the vet !! how smart !!!

    African greys are supposed to be the smartest of all the parrots. Wonderful birds.

    cute story, nice story but i think police should take some sort of disciplinary action against the owner of this parrot.

    I was careless because it hardly flies...

    That's one street-smart parrot. I can imagine it teasing the jcops by mimicking sounds like that guy in Police Academy.

    Yeah, you have to love a parrot that can work through that much information. I love the fact that it wouldn't talk to the cops. Too much!

    I got a good laugh out of that one. When you think of it, there are some different ways of viewing said incident. That parrot possibly has a sense of humor in yakking away different things to different people.

    The staff at the Vet clinic must have been in tears of laughter.
