those women aged 20 through 30's use credit cards much more than they did ten years ago. They used to have to carry a lot more cash when shopping. If people are in better shape in general, how come you always hear people complaining about being tsukareta (tired)? I think the Japanese people in general are physically week.
he he he ... Golden Week, Silver Week and now ... "physically week". smirk

Just like those surverys about which countries are the best to live in, the best food, quality of life ... blah, blah, blah. One survey will have the findings different to another and it goes on and on. I always take these things with a grain of salt.
The truth is out there ... just where I don't know yet.

Rubbish! Though maybe their fingers are stronger now due to constant computer game playing and using their keitais.....

in europe, most european men have a very large disparity in the musculature and strength in the fingers, hand and forearm of their dominant hand. scientists purport it is due to excessive 5-knuckle shuffling whilst regaling in JAV.

You may have a point. The protein develops their muscles while their hummingbird like metabolisms burn off the fat in no time.
McDonald's may be good for jocks until about 25 or so.

Maybe because those 20-30s women don't actually consume food products and use all their energy to stay alive.
alphawolf at 05:43 PM JST - 12th October
They could do the same amount of exercise as 9 years ago, but eat one hamburger more per week and be stronger... because they seem protein deficient. aw

"Children here strong! Strong like BULL!!!"
BurakuminDes at 08:04 PM JST - 12th October
Great - kids are better at throwing and jumping than they were 9 years ago! Who comes up with this dross?
biglittleman at 09:07 PM JST - 12th October
It is simple! They are not comparing them to other countries but to a previous Japanese generation. Sports are more popular and training methodology is also better than nine years ago. Sports training has more focus because you can get paid big time. It is not rocket science. If you don't think they are getting stronger then look at how big the junior high and high school kids are compared to 9 years ago. They are also bigger too. With size supposedly strength is comes with it. Their diets have more variety.

I think it's likely that with increased americanization of Japan their diets have changed to include more meat and fast food (which actually already includes hormones).

Bolt set a new world record.........people everywhere getting physically stronger than 9 years ago: My survey
joetheplumber at 02:21 PM JST - 13th October
It is all in the mind. More kids are thinking and eating healthier than 10 years ago. Plus the PE at school is a key factor.
