Do they actually believe cleaning the mote will increase their chances of securing the Olympic bid? There are far more important things needs cleaning up. Starting with, cleaning up their act in general!

USA football team just beat Spanish fifa ranked 1 team in confederation cup in south africa.

'Tis a shame it only took an olympic bid to do something that needs to be done otherwise.

Olympics is always a good きっかけ to enhance existing infastructure and build new ones. There is nothing bad about that.

Here I thought they were dredging for slain crime bosses or something. Seriously though I didn't think the moats looked that bad when I was there. Not somewhere I would swim but no floating garbage or anything.

Oh, I thought that dark green colour of the moats were their natural colour. Another surprise for me!!

  • Fadamor at 02:41 AM JST - 26th June

When you think about it, moats are SUPPOSED to be uninviting. You want those enemies thinking twice about entering that water to attack your defenses. I suppose you wouldn't want the moat to SMELL like a moat if you're trying for the Olympic Games, though.
