UK ministry's home page linked to Japanese porn site
LONDON —
The UK interior ministry’s home page was mistakenly linked to a Japanese porn website, a government spokesman said Tuesday. The Home Office was alerted to the issue by the BBC on Monday after a private Internet user informed the broadcaster.
“It was a link from the Home Office website to the Technical Advisory Board, which is an external website,” a Home Office spokesman said. “It is their website that was hacked and redirected to a porn site. We have removed the link and are now investigating the matter.”
