I really don't care what anyone said. Americans have a very good heart when it come to this. let's just hope that the two Japanese remember this, and don't go saying that gaijin are bad and Dangerous. you know what i mean, Japanese have a long History of forgetting who give then a helping hand.

There are several boats that go by the same name in Japan. Take a trip down to Shonan beach in Kanagawa ken and you will know what am talking about.

The Russians didn't shoot the fishermen "out of the water". Both boths returned to Japan, where officials determined the fisherman had intentionally turned off the GPS logging feature of their navigational systes.
The Japanese arrested the Chinese captain for ramming their vessel.
There were no rammings in this story, just assistance issued once the vessel was able to get to the closest place with an airport that can handle the C-130.
The American military has a pretty good record when it comes to humanitarian aid.

These Japanese fishermen were very, very lucky to be rescued. The Pacific Ocean is not a pacific, quiet as the name suggests, and it is the biggest ocean in the world, so good job US CC!

That's the job of the USCG. THey;d do the same if it were an Iranian or North KOrean vessel. If they let them.
Complete nonsense. Japan has a long history of helping other nations. Abnd stupidly, even those that hate them.

It's one of those things that makes me proud to be American. We will help is we are asked. These guys were very lucky to be where they were where they could get to a port.
