Where's the peanut gallery gang of usual suspects to tell us how bad these evil doers are? Come on don't disappoint. JT could lose ratings in comedy relief.
I get buzzed at home every morning and evening by the US Navy chopper going into Tokyo (post run to the embassy). Last Summer, my younger son and I were out walking and my son waved at the chopper as she went overhead. Pilot obviously saw us and waved the wings. That little bit of excitement made my son's day.
With regard to this incident, glad to hear there were no real dramas. As somebody who has experienced an "auto-rotation" as a passenger in Blackhawk, I can tell you it beats the hell out of any roller coaster ride.

I see no reason to have a go at these "evil doers".. If you need to make an emergency landing rather than fall out of the sky onto a school, then that`s a good day all round.
Right you are, why anyone would equate an emergency landing of a military aircraft with the personnel operating it as being bad and evil is quite a stretch.
Why wouldn't it be news? It would definitely be in the news media where I live if some military aircraft made an emergency landing in a civilian area. Even more so considering it's a U.S. military aircraft.

Exactly, it should be news where YOU live, and ONLY where you live. I think the point people are raising here is that this is somehow considered NATIONAL news when it clearly shouldn't be.

Thanks for not disappointing me in you interpretation of my post. It's hard to express sarcasm in print sometimes.
