Haven't we been told all this since last week?

Just because AP has finally picket up the story due to a 007 link doesn't mean we have to submitted to a rehash of what anyone who has been awake in the past week already knows.

Yeah, they could at least have also played up the fact that the memorable score to "You Only Live Twice" by composed by John Barry, who passed away just a few days ago. Maybe there is some strange cosmic connection. Or maybe not.

You Only Live Twice was the one where Bond asked the Chinese girl "Why do Chinese girls taste different?" Bond wouldn't be able to get away with asking such a question now, lol.

Is it me or does that sound too close for comfort? I mean if this volcano blows it's top...

Nothing's impossible, but I would think the chance of an explosive eruption went down considerably once the volcano was able to vent pressure like it is now.

Interesting to see on the vid cams last night that Mt Sakurajima is also active and looking in about the same state as Shin-Moe-dake. Both giving off a fairly bright red glow from their summits.

I use this: seisvol kishou go jp/vo/32 php

Just replace the spaces with dots, put the rest of the URL's info and you're good to go. It's not a big drain on your internet connection, just pictures.

Just go to the appropriate camera, 霧島山 (there are two cameras, just alternate between the two, one of them is really active, the other isn't).

Just saw that too nandakandamanda, there's a huge column of smoke coming off of it at the moment.

Sakurajima has a good one, at about 2:48 today. The pictures haven't been recycled yet, you can have a look at the event.
