Wow, that is a vote of confidence in the British Museum. I hope the Japanese are happy with this arrangement. Would love to see the collection, though.

Despite its antiquity (first recorded in the 16th.) and its frequent use, especially by Scottish writers, since then, it has fallen out of favour among standard speakers in England, and is best avoided. ..."
