Oldest man in Tokyo was found to be dead for 30 years. So might as well say we have a person 190 years old it will take 30 years to check.

Exactly. Lets hold the celebration until we verify the existance of this man. It was said Japan has the greatest number of people over the age of 100 until a few years ago when thousands were found to be long deceased.

Well he was giving interviews in mid-September last year, so even if he has passed on since then he's not long deceased.
