T REx, you can use the monitors with Macs too. I have 16 of them. Actually this is a very strong monitor. I have sen students knock 5 on the floor and they work fine.

If it has a cd or dvd player built in then you can change the OS to an English one. It's called Linux. Download the ISO and burn it to a disk then start up on it to install it. Too easy. And escape the Microsoft trap.

Acer puts out a good product.

@mikhuntz: this one does have a DVD drive.

I don't believe this one is the touch screen one, but my preference is to not have a touch screen. Just one more thing that can go wrong and make you have to replace the whole thing.
