Bose has a new multimedia speaker system for consumers that like to stream video and listen to iTunes on their computers. The 9-cm-wide, 22-cm-tall, 14.7-cm-thick system balances high-pitched and low-pitched sounds to mimic the output of a much larger speaker system.
The system contains all the modern amenities audiophiles expect in a modern speaker system, such as a remote control, headphone jack and more, plus apparatus for connecting the system to smartphones and mp3 players. Price: 33,600 yen.

Audiophiles don't care much about remote controls, headphone jacks (these should be a given) or other little features. It's the audio quality that matters! Unfortunately Bose is better at marketing than delivering on its price in terms of audio quality
