Canon's EOS 7D Mark II

Canon will release its new digital single-lens reflex camera, EOS 7D Mark II, for 208,000 yen in early November.

EOS 7D Mark II is the successor of the EOS 7D that was released in 2009, and it is the flagship model of Canon's DSLR with APS-C sensor.

EOS 7D Mark II has an effective 20.2MP CMOS sensor, the Dual DIGIC 6 image processor and 3.0-inch back monitor (1.04M dot). It achieves ISO 100-16000 for both photos and movies, and especially for photos, it can be boosted up to 51200 in the expanded ISO mode. Pentaprism-used optical viewfinder called Intelligent Viewfinder II provides approximately 100% field of view for shooting ease.

In addition to 10fps continuous shooting ability, it supports a 65-point all cross-type AF system.

There is GPS built-in, but there is no Wi-Fi capability.
