Using cost-saving, long-life LED bulbs, Asahi Electric Company’s new lamp sends out a gentle illumination that creates a warm atmosphere in your room. The clip-on lamps as well as standard desk lamps are currently on sale at about 6,000 yen (1-bulb model) and 8,000 yen (3-bulb model).

This is way too expensive! Who in their right mind is going to fork out 6 or 8 thousand yen? You can go to any major electrical appliance shop (Yamamda, Bic Camerca, Yodobashi etc..) and find the same thing for as low as only 700 yen!
