Cold feet

Cold feet

Ever been so uncomfortably warm at night that you find yourself trying to jam your feet under cold water from the faucet? We suggest you hotfoot it down to Tokyu Hands to get your paws on some sweet relief. These nifty Velcro cooling pads strap directly onto the wearer’s feet, lowering their temperature without the need to get wet.

Designed by Gunma-based household goods company Honyaradoh, the pads are part of
a range that includes scarves and pillows, which allow you to bundle up but still stay cool during the summer months. (Felicity Hughes/Metropolis)

Huh? Do they have ice packs inserted into them or something? How do they work? More importantly, DO they work. Lastly, IF they do work, where the heck can I get a pair if I live in Southern Japan far far away from Tokyo!

I want to know how they work too. Until I know, I am calling bullsh*t until I see the technology.
