Cooking heater with optical sensor
New Products ( 3 )
Mitsubishi Electric’s new cooking heater, the G39HN series, detects the temperature when pots and pans are removed from the heated surface. The optical sensor releases infrared rays to measure the temperature of the bottom of the pan.
It also features a voice guidance function that announces preheating levels, ensuring the optimal temperature for vegetable sauté and others.
The suggested retail price is 325,500 yen for the 65-cm-wide model and 346,500 yen for the 70-cm model, excluding installation costs. On sale Sept 18.

325,500 yen seems a little pricey for the average family.

Let's say the burner temp is 450F, the pan temp maybe 200-240F depending on where the pan is sitting on the burner. =You can get a cheap IR temp guage for ~$50 now.
