Forget the flowers, plant your feet in comfort. That’s the message from Crocs which unveiled its latest line—Prepair—in two new colors during this weekend’s Tokyo Marathon Expo 2010 at Tokyo Big Sight.
Prepair is designed for athletes and sports enthusiasts. The new shoes, which will be available in early March, come in white/moss/silver and silver/dahlia. They range in price from 4,480 yen to 4,980 yen.

I sometimes have to walk through a shoe shop's storageroom and that chemical smell coming from the crocs corner totally puts me off buying them, I rather stay with Birkenstock.

Hey, Crocs are comfortable. I wear a pair at the office. It's nice to take off your shoes and slip into something really comfortable. Makes the long hours at the office almost bearable.

These particular ones, are ugly. But they have an extensive collection of styles and sizes online, and there are no shoes more comfortable. You love 'em or hate 'em!

I always notice they sell Crocs in those small stands beside the escalators in the shopping malls in the US - never really thought about it. To me, that's almost like hearing Lynyrd Skynyrd being played just before boarding an airplane.

Umm... ok that analogy totally missed the mark. So if you see a pair of crocs for sale at a kiosk just before getting on an escalator, you will die in a fiery crash? How would this be different from seeing a pair of sandals for sale just before getting on an escalator?

Crocs are not only non-eco, they don't provide foot support. I know a kid who's toe nail ripped off when it got stuck in the croc.

weren't people in japan getting their crocs caught on escalators and thereby causing some places to put up signs banning use of crocs on the escalators? that was a couple of years ago now.
