Open price ? So we can just make up our own price and pay that ? Come on, stop messing around with the consumers and put a price tag on your goods.

The Ricoh GR cameras are always really expensive - I'd figure around 80,000 or so for this.

As good a sthe GR Digital series are, I still reckon I'd go for the Olympus PEN DSLR.

Isn't this article missing something? It has a large aperture, but there is no mention of how large. It has an enhanced shutter speed, but it does this means. The GRll has a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000 sec, and the GRlll has, surprise, surprise, a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000 sec.

How about, 'the all-new GRIII. It's a camera.'

The new Pen cameras aren't DSLRs, they're more like a rangefinder. They are essentially a high-end prosumer digicam with interchangeable lenses.
Pretty sweet, though - for the same general price range as the GRIII I'd much rather have the Pen.

gaijintraveller, exactly ..the large aperture is the reason for buying this camera!
Want to buy a camera case? Will this be a good one? http://www.warehouse123.com/store/product_information.php?pid=21454&ptext=Ricoh-GC-4-Soft-Case-Black
