Japan News and Discussion
It may seem like something out of a James Bond movie, but Hanwha-Japan’s UDCM301 is an underwater digicam disguised as your average snorkeling mask. The 3.1-megapixel camera is waterproof up to 5 meters and can take both video and still shots. The unit boasts 16MB of built-in flash memory, which can be expanded with a Micro SD card up to 2GB.
Crosshairs on the lenses make for easy aiming, and a simple glance up at the LCD panel lets you know how much memory and battery life is left. So, the next time you head down to the beach or pool, bring this baby along and capture the memories. (Sarah Cortina/Metropolis)
Additional Information:
12,800 yen. Available online at http://tinyurl.com/cameramask. 5.0-megapixel model can be ordered through overseas online retailers like B&H Photo (www.bhphotovideo.com).

or just get a proper housing for your normal home digi-cam. One mask does not fit all so if you are tempted by this please try it on first and do not buy by mail order or you will be wasting your money. If you have a poor fitting mask it will fill with water then the cross hairs will be useless!!!
