I bet it doesn't make my body look slim.

    That model is definitely fit.

I am sure you will think it is a letdown.

It doesn't cover the thighs or the calves. But that is no letdown.

Knowing wet suits well, I assume it is wet suit material and probably 1mm. Looks sexy. I like it. Maybe we can get some cafes in Akihabara to wear these, but not the guy cafes.

Finally, people are getting away from those ubiquitous swimsuits that were bizarrely high cut, leaving hips and thighs hanging out for all to see and flattering no one. I like where this is going.

Still, all we can see here is that this newest swimsuit does work fantastically well on already-slim people.

Ok, so show us this on a fat model then and we'll see if it really works

Those swimwear with shorts are really good. After you finished your swim, you can easily walk around town. I once wore them in Europe where they are unheard of and jumped right into the sea and everybody thought I was so free and careless just to jump with my 'clothes' into the sea.

Come on, in Japan there are no fat models. The models are very thin and then they are photoshopped additionally to look twice as thinner as before.

It is actually cheap. A good present for your wife/mother/girlfriend.

    "It is actually cheap"

It is not. 9,765 is around $110. Heck, you can get a great quality swimsuit for less than half that.

In Japan, it's cheap for a swimsuit. Really.

This one has a vertical line and is made of fabric so thick you can't see through it.

It's all very good and well for the model to stand there, but I'd like to see a bit of breaststroke if possible.

wow, somebody must have left their glasses home when designing these suits. I guess the female form is not only to be covered, but ignored too. too bad. the honesty of the Japanese women when it comes to their bodies just took a step side ways.

I've seen these at the pool. They aren't bad...at least if I wore it I wouldn't have to shave way up "there". But, the change line from black to pink would emphasize ANY tummy fat, so I can't give it full marks. Plus, yeah, as dbung10 says, put it on a fat (anyone normal compared to the model) and we shall see. Oh, and this is a reasonable price for a decently made woman's swimsuit.

Won't work. People would still splash water on me and try to push me back out to sea....
