Fujifilm digital camera

Fujifilm digital camera

Fujifilm steps up its efforts to compete against single-lens cameras with its new digital camera, the FinePix S200EXR, that features an optical 14.3x zoom lens. The high-resolution zoom doesn’t require interchangeable lenses, and there is a new and unique CCD (charge-coupled device) to enhance resolution.

Open price, but expected to be about 60,000 yen.

Have to check it out. If the lens cannot be removed, then the camera is limited.

I've got snapshot cameras with 5x or 6x but hardly ever use zoom. Camera makers offer outrageously long focal lengths but a lot of users don't realize what sort of stability problems they should expect unless you're using a tripod (or shooting in very bright conditions that let you set to 1/100 shutter speed or higher). These super-zoom cameras appeal to the adolescent mentality. But used without the zoom, I'll concede most of them take good photos, thanks to the big lens.

I believe Fuji cameras still have English. They certainly did a year ago when I returned a Lumix to the shop I bought it from because it did not have English menus and got a Fuji instead.
