Häagen-Dazs has started selling new flavored ice cream from their Japanese-themed ice cream series "Japonais." The series is only available in Seven-Eleven stores in Japan.
The new flavor is called "Japonais Vanilla & Kinako Kuromitsu". Kinako means soybean flour, and kuromitsu means Japanese brown sugar syrup in English.
The ice cream consists of 4 layers of the following yumminess:
1 - Thick kinako kuromitsu (soybean flour x brown sugar syrop) sauce 2 - Vanilla icecream 3 - Smooth sweet red bean paste sauce 4 - Milk sorbet containing condensed milk
If you like traditional Japanese style sweets, try it out!

Sound nice, but really, how many sugary calories? Sounds like a LOT!!

The serving size is really small (as all Haagen Dazs are), so it's probably not that many calories.
