Good things come in small packages, right?
The new “hair-drying glove” (ヘアドライ手袋) being sold at Japan’s Daiso chain of 100-yen shops is currently plastered everywhere on Japanese social media, and for good reason – it’s a simple but extremely effective and convenient way to dry your hair.
As featured on a segment of NTV’s "Hirunandesu!" variety show, Daiso’s new hair-drying glove dramatically speeds up the time it takes to dry hair, which could save you some precious time during your daily morning routine. Best of all, it costs only 100 yen, making it an inexpensive purchase that will barely put a dent in your monthly budget.
To use it, all you have to do is put the glove on the hand which you don’t use to hold your hair dryer. Begin blow drying while repeatedly running through your hair with the gloved hand to speed up the drying process. Yep, it’s that simple – in fact, I feel like I’m making things unnecessarily complicated by trying to explain how it works.
According to Japanese net users who have already purchased the new product, it definitely cuts back on the time it takes to their dry hair, especially for the ones with long hair. They also say not to worry about burning your hand with the hair dryer because the glove also does a nice job of protecting your skin from the heat, so this product promises to leave you with dry hair and un-singed hands, truly the best of both worlds.
