Casio's EX-100PRO digital camera that meets the needs of university/corporate researchers and sports professionals, will go on sale January 13.
Only 100 cameras will be available for sale to the public. If you want the camera, you can place an order at e-casio, Casio's online store, by January 18.
EX-100PRO was developed based on the EX-100 model that equips a 28-300mm range f/2.8 aperture 10.7x optical zoom lens, and a 60fps high-speed continuous shooting function as well as a function that synchronizes up to 7 EX-100PRO cameras and can control all of them through an Android tablet that has the dedicated SynchroShot application.
This new sync function helps the process of experiment analysis at laboratories or for analysis of complicated motion mechanics such a baseball player's pitching style or other athletic movements.

Wonder how the auto focus is? Otherwise your left with focusing on one spot & letting her rip
100 seems pretty low for a camera only costing Y100,000

Seems really cheap compared to the standard Red Ones and family members that do 2k at 120 fps. The Casio has a 12MegaPixel sensor, and can do 1,000 fps in some modes, but only at 224 x 64 resolution. Maximum image size at 120 fps is only 640 x 480. Somehow doesn't seem to match the real professional market.
