Logicool wireless headset

Logicool wireless headset

Tech manufacturer Logicool has a new wireless headset that will work up to 10 meters from a PC source. The headset will function for approximately six hours per charge. 9,980 yen.

For that price (9,980 yen) I`d rather use a mic with a wire. That is way too much to spend for a wireless mic.

You can get DACT headsets for a bit more with exceptional sound quality and range up to 100 meters. Bluetooth is not good for sound.

Darn it. I was buying a new headset 4 months ago and this was the one I wanted but it wasn't available in Japan (despite being available in Aus and NZ)... but the Aus and NZ version holds a longer charge. What's up here?

Need to look into wireless headsets here.

Both me and my son got our own TV's and Game-stations, PC's but the AP is small so sound travels.

But need ones that work with the TV as all the devices & PC's(except NDS) route sound via the TV-speakers.

Yep, we use the TV's as PC-monitors too.

Bluetooth doesn't work well with an in-home wifi system because they both run on the same frequency. I bought a bluetooth wireless system a few years ago and could never get it to work because of this problem.

If Logicool/Logitech is not using the standard bluetooth frequencies, then I would be more than happy to pay this price for such a wireless system. The standard 1.8m cord that comes with most wired headsets is a nightmare. In addition to that, the cords are fine, and they often break over time due to the natural twisting that occurs when you take up, put on, take off and lay down the mic. It is much like a corded phone, but the twisting damages the fine wires. Therefore, wireless would be a fantastic option to have. IF it doesn't get blocked by the wireless frequencies in many homes. Let's see how that goes.

After charging the battery ten times, it will be dead. It would be good to know how many cycles the battery can deliver and what type of battery they are using.
