my B5 laptop is perfect. They make great second computers. Sitting on the sofa with your computer resting comfortably on legs makes life's home work a bit easier.

I've always felt laptops were a bit overpriced and full of features I didn't really need. Longer battery life is a prime concern, naturally. Huge storage space is not.

MSI has a better reputation for making boards. I doubt this product will be succesful in such a difficult market as Japan, where brand recognition and deep pockets are the key.

I don´t get how a small computer can have a large keyboard. As far as I can see, you can`t have it both ways.

check the link, it says there's a '3cell type' lithium ion one, w/ever that means.

i went to MSI's site. They are only making 200,000 units of all notebooks worldwide? I can make more than that in my garage here.
3-cell lithium ion will last about 30 minutes if you max out on the power saving. Leading competitors use a standard 6-cell, or can upgrade to a 9-cell. You should make sure the cell itself is not manufactured in China.

Not too excited about this MSI product. Kohjinsha had a nice mini laptop at Aeon for about 44,000 yen a few weeks ago, but it's gone now. For portability, I also like Sony Vaio picture books, if you can get a cheap one on ebay or used in den den town.
