That's actually pretty good for a G-SHOCK, although "Riseman" seems more like a Japanese translation for Viagra.

what does it mean - atomic?

Cool watch but shame about the cheap looking band. Looks like it was lifted from a 1983 Timex..

Atomic in this instance does not mean nuclear if that is what you are thinking. It is in regard to the manner in which the reference signals are timed.

I have two Casio g-shock waveceptors, and I love them. Platonic, of course.
Atomic refers to the atomic clocks which are the world standards.

Hmm, my old Citizen Altessa Watch got 95% of those function and I bought it 8yrs ago.

Yes I'm sure it does. But, can it withstand a fall onto concrete from 25 feet. Or can it keep it's watertight seal at 20 feet of sea water. As, these are the requirements of a "G-shock" brand label.
The name G-shock wasn't for erotic subtlety, it actually means something.

Yeah, it can certified to 30metres depth.

Sorry, made a mistake in the conversion of my watch. 100m/10bar not 30m.
Not saying the G-Shock is not a good watch, just that it has no new super-duper features. To me looks like a lot of advertisement hype.
Personally I prefer my watch as it is analog and not digital.
