New office chairs
New Products ( 9 )
Itoki is marketing two new types of office chairs. The product is designed for companies that are downsizing the office space due to the recession, or for offices where multiple employees share desks and chairs. Itoki hopes to boost sales as demand for office furniture declines.
The Torte, which has minimized the tilt of the back will be on sale from February. Compared to conventional models, approximately 25 cm of aisle space can be saved for optimal use of the office. Due to the seat sliding mechanism, small tilting of the chair backward still ensures a comfortable position when the user wants to relax. Price: from 33,600 yen.

Their previous chairs (with armrests) cost about twice that figure (72,000 yen) so these are almost certainly made in China.

34,000 yen for a chair without armrests?

Itoki furniture falls apart within a year. It is awful stuff.

I like the color on the picture, it is warm, optimistic and even people are depressed by the bad economy, the decreased salaries and poverty, they will be comfortable on such a small and warm chair.

If you want to enjoy a chair, you should not stay in the office. I will enjoy any chair near the ocean or the swimming pool.

I bet it would. Would this chair repel sharks in open water?? Increase competition at a wet t-shirt contest? Come with detachable skis for towing?
