149,000 yen for a bed? Heck, I can buy a much more comfortable futon which I can put in the closet to free up that room during the day... oh, wait, the people who would pay 149,000 yen for a bed obviously have the money to pay for a 4LDK with a 32 jo livingroom, of course pets allowed, never mind.

It's got a headboard with a light on it? and that hitherto unheard-of innovation ups the price to 149,000 yen for a single? That's one digit too many.
Sarge - having to hoik the futon in and out of the closet is a pain. It's only comfortable if someone else is doing the hoiking.

bed is like most J-beds too low off the ground!!

Looks like something sold at IKEA that can be purchased for less than a third of the cost.

Weasel - no - you can't buy this in Ikea - what you can buy is a squicky made in Chin-am-wan with extremly poor quality you'd have to build yourself. I did the same mistake for our bed and I won't repeat it in this life.
