Odor eraser
New Products ( 11 )
“Functional” and “novelty” are words that seldom rub against each other in the same sentence, but Bandai seems intent on finding ways of bringing the two together. Hot on the heels of last year’s Lotte gum bath salts comes a new and equally bizarre tie-in: the Mono Eraser Air Freshener. “Rub out odors like you rub out words!” squeals the publicity for this 9-cm-tall deodorizer, which is modeled after stationery manufacturer Tombow’s iconic eraser. The device promises to keep your office smelling sweet while inducing flashbacks of junior high school, though the fragrance is closer to fresh leaves than fresh rubber shavings. Squealing , or screaming, is what I felt like doing after reading this over-written PR piece.

So, does that mean if I fart, I have to take out my 'eraser' and obliterate every trace of the smell, like a JH student erases an entire sentence for a misspelt word?

train commuters could use this.

Needs to be greater than 9cm to have any meaningful effect.

maybe I'll just carry a lavender scented old fashioned aerosol spray can with me at all times then.

I wonder if people with horse breath chew on this, possibly it might make the trains more pleasant to ride on.

I love the fragrance of bay leaves. Is it anything like that? I doubt it.

You hit the nail on the head. How can they not smell it themselves? Halitosis treatment is not rocket science.

Or those incredibly stinky older men who seem not to have sent their suits to the cleaners in a few years. OY, I actually get up and move when one of these arrives.

who are heavy smokers...that smell is coming from their rotting lungs, no deodorizer or breath mints can mask that putrid smell.
