The resolution 640x480 is sub-standard. Forget it.

It is rated at 10 lumens output! And the battery will last for no more than an hour if you are lucky.
Probably good for practicing corporate PowerPoint presentations in a cellar at night or a coal mine, with little ambient light.

Texas Instruments just came out with one about the same size that works with iPods and other devices, runs for 2 hours, but has slightly lower resolution. Good for sharing videos at close range with a small group.

Why such a low resolution? I had one like that that was a tiny bit larger nearly 20 years ago. They need to make one that works in HD resolutions, for 1/3 the price.
